Tayla is a poet, multidisciplinary artist, and disability advocate living on Bunurong land. She creates to connect, untangling perceptions of ambiguous loss, hope and impermanence, drawing from her lived experience with a rare neuromuscular condition. Her work has featured in International Short Film Festivals, RUSSH magazine, Writers Victoria, the Emerging Writer’s Festival, Grieve Project and the Poetry D’Amour. She is currently writing a poetry memoir, supported by a Creative Victoria grant.
