ALARM BROWED FINCHES IN A STATE OF ALARM BROWED

Sorrow / -’s in / the / City / -’s wet!  

Standing tall, / as though claiming vast budgets, we get back to running / the numbers, pulling figures back into the tableau.

and my love lies down and dies / like an old dog, its swollen / arthritic knees buckling
