Maria Viirros is an MFA contemporary printmaker and tattoo artist. A native of Finland, she works and lives in Oslo, Norway. Fed by attitudes of underground subscenes, her distinctive personal style emanates energetic moods and rhythm and expresses the powerful spirit and atmosphere of the darker sides of the human experience. Drawing inspiration from the subcultural symbol world, her works aim to harness and understand the ravenous storms of life.
