TYRANT #2: About Face

Artwork by Camilla Eustance

When a migrant is elected president

of the senior class and weevils

empty the bolls and the beloved state champions

lose to their fourth-class rival down south and the coach

is found-out to be hard-up for the pastor and a piteousness

of doves fly over with no bullets left to shoot them,

they will muster for the most discharging voice that shouts

about-face.
